On May 29,  2015, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design  held I scientific workshop "Innovative trends in the training of future economists in the multicultural and multilingual globalized world", organized by the Department of Foreign Languages, in cooperation with the Department of Enterprise Economics.

The main purpose of the scientific workshop was to discuss a wide range of issues of foreign languages proficiency formation and communication competence  of economic specialties students  in  conditions of European integration processes, economic development and training for solving applied problems in the economy and its industries, the training of qualified personnel for strategically important sectors of the national economy of Ukraine taking into account modern global transformation processes.

The plenary session was attended by  Oleksandr Khomenko, Doctor of Science, Associate Professor, faculty dean; Mykola Denysenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor; Valeriya Loyko, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, department head; Julia Topenko, Ph.D., Associate Professor, department head  and  the students of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
