10-11 November 2015 the specialists of  Applied Ecology, Technology of Polymers and Chemical Fibers (AETPCF) Department participated in the National Forum "Waste Management in Ukraine: legislation, economics, technology". In order to expand scientific and educational ties and take part in discussion of waste treatment strategies. Discusion was focused in terms of decentralized authorities: problems and prospects of implementation at the local level.

Forum organizers: All-Ukrainian Ecological League, Environmental Recycling Association of Ukraine, DAK Media, Center of Municipal Technologies.

In frames of the Forum the adaptation of current legislation on waste management in the context of decentralization of power were discussed; as well as formation of tariff policy on household waste management and environmentally friendly technologies of recycling and waste disposal.
