On 11 November 2016, the Department of Finance and Financial-Economic Security held the international scientific seminar "Ways of ensuring the financial stability of the banking sector of the state". The co-organizers of this event were: DNNU "Academy of financial management", Institute of Economics and forecasting of NAS at Ukraine, Institute of industrial Economics of NAS of Ukraine. The aim of the seminar was to discuss scientific advances in the study of the development prospects in the world economy, its influence on the financial-banking sector in Ukraine and identify areas of financial stabilization of the banking sector, and for establishment of scientific contacts and exchange of experience with representatives of universities, scientific institutions, enterprises and business community.

The academician of NAS of Ukraine, Director of Institute of Economics and forecasting of NAS of Ukraine, Professor, Doctor of economic Sciences Valeriy Geyets told the guests and participants of the scientific seminar about the relationship between the stability of the banking system and the efficiency of public finance.

Leonid Kozachenko, a deputy of Ukraine, the chairman of the Council of entrepreneurs at the Cabinet of Ministers, the President of the Ukrainian agrarian confederation encouraged the participants of the seminar to discuss problems and mechanisms of stability restoration of the national banking system.

Tatyana Efimenko, a corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine, the President of DNNU "Academy of financial management" raised the question concerning the place of the banking system of Ukraine in the global financial architecture.

The conference was organized and conducted by staff of the Department of Finance and Financial-Economic Security of the Faculty of Economics and Business.

The exchange of views and research results of scientists and specialists from different countries became the basis of the resolution of the international scientific seminar on financial stability of the banking sector of Ukraine.
