December 3, 2016 the students and teachers of the Accounting and Auditing Department attended Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre and saw the play “The Glass Menagerie” written by American playwright Tennessee Williams in 1944. The play features the Wingfields, a family living in straitened circumstances in 1930s St Louis. Amanda, the mother, constantly exasperates her son Tom (who is frustrated with his boring home life and job) and frets over finding a suitable husband for her painfully shy daughter Laura. The author shows off the problems of small American family and disability of its members to go over the difficulties without disappointments and losses. The students enjoyed the play for interesting plot and brilliant actors acting.
