POLISH GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Government of Polish Republic is ready to grant 9 scholarships
for Ukrainian citizens in 2009/2010 academic year.
The Scholarships will give possibility to study at Post-graduate course
at College of Europe in Natolin.

College of Europe in Natolin (http://www.coleurop.be) is a leader in the field of academic studies of new development stages in EU. Its interdisciplinary program includes courses in EU institutions, law, economics, politics and political science, and allows students all over Europe to gain experience of living in multicultural environment and international career.

College invites prominent European politicians to give lectures. Thus students have possibility to become acquainted with political and social-economical events in Central and Eastern Europe, and also with new political courses being developed by EU with aim to form neighbourhood relationships with countries after widening.

Program of European interdisciplinary studies in Natolin offers to the students to familiarize themselves with the process of European integration. Thereby the Program goes out outside one academic discipline, answering growing necessities in professionals, that specialising in some aspects of matters of EU, have the common understanding of integration process. This program is opened for the graduating students of universities in economy, law or political sciences, history, communications, foreign languages, philosophy or philology, and interested in career continuation in European institutions or in direction of European affairs in general.

Tuition fee in 2009-2010 academic year is:

  • € 21 000 for the Bruges campus (covers tuition - € 14.000, board and lodging in a student residence - € 7.000);
  • € 19.000 for the Natolin campus (covers tuition - € 14.000, board and lodging in a student residence - € 5.000).
Admission Requirements
  • university graduates coming from European Neighbourhood Policy Countries(Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia, Russia and Ukraine);
  • all applicants to the College of Europe must hold a relevant university degree;
  • admission to the College of Europe requires either a Bologna Master's degree, or a pre-Bologna equivalent degree, or a final university degree and at least 240 ECTS credits acquired in the course of one's university studies;
  • a good working knowledge of English and French languages. The College requires all students to have a level of B2 on the Common European Framework language scales, for both languages.

Candidates must submit a formal application for admission, which consists of an online application.

A printed copy of the application and the supporting documents must be sent by postal mail to the selection committee in the candidate's country or region. A copy of the entire application must also be sent to the Admissions Office of the College of Europe:

Please note that applications for admission are valid for one academic year only. The decision to admit a candidate is taken after the interview by the selection board (comprised of the selection committee as well as the College).

Graduates of the College receive Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies.

Everyone who wishes to study at College of Europe should submit filled application form, written request and letter of recommendation, signed by head of institution, to Department of International Cooperation and European Integration of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine before 15 May 2009 at address:

The deadline for Ukrainian applicants has been postponed until 30 June 2009 for those candidates applying to the EIS programme (Natolin campus). However, it is no longer possible to apply for the Bruges campus programmes anymore after 15 May 2009.
