ACADEMIC MOBILITY FOR FACULTY AND STAFF

 

A competitive selection is announced for participation in the international academic mobility program Erasmus+ KA171 for KNUTD teaching and non-teaching staff for the purpose of teaching (STA) / professional development and training (STT) at the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar (Croatia) within the framework of the Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement.The mobility will take place within the 5th Erasmus+ International Staff Week (ISW) VEVU.

Mobility Period:

November 30 – December 4, 2026.

Mobility Duration:

5 days; shorter periods of stay are not provided.

Under the terms of the program, funding for up to 2 additional travel days is possible (1 day

before the start of mobility and 1 day after the completion).

Planned Nomination:

1 main candidate from the higher education institution and a reserve list according to the participants' interest.

Areas of Participation:

  • Staff Mobility for Teaching – STA;
  • Staff Mobility for Training – STT.

Funding:

  • individual support (daily allowance / per diem) according to the Erasmus+ program budget;
  • compensation for travel expenses according to the European Commission's distance calculator;
  • possible additional support in case of using an environmentally friendly travel method (green travel);
  • additional financial support may be provided for persons with disabilities or special needs.

Erasmus+ financial support may not cover all costs associated with staying abroad.

Terms of Participation:

  • the candidate must be a KNUTD employee throughout the entire period of application submission and mobility realization;
  • English or Croatian language proficiency level — B2 or higher;
  • preference is given to employees participating in the Erasmus+ program for the first time.

Deadline for submitting documents to KNUTD: July 7, 2026 (until 12:00 PM).

 

To participate in the competitive selection, the following must be submitted:

  • Erasmus+ program application;
  • motivation letter;
  • CV in Europass format;
  • Staff Mobility Agreement for Teaching / Training;
  • Endorsement Letter for Staff, signed and certified by the relevant structural unit;
  • copy of the first page of the international passport;
  • document confirming English or Croatian language proficiency level of B2 or higher;
  • GDPR statement / consent to personal data processing;
  • documents regarding the right to additional financial support or green travel (if applicable);
  • other documents according to the terms of the competition.

 

The selection of candidates will be conducted on a competitive basis. After the internal selection, KNUTD will nominate the selected candidates to the host institution. The final approval of participants is carried out by the Erasmus+ Committee of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar.

 

Participants selected for mobility must independently arrange medical / travel insurance valid for the period of stay abroad and provide confirmation before the start of the mobility.
