Dive into the world of blockchain and smart contracts while enhancing your skills in artificial intelligence! Join our International Summer School “Trustworthy AI – Machine Learning meets Blockchain” at OTH Regensburg – University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

Over the course of this two-week program, you will learn how distributed ledgers like Bitcoin and Ethereum work, explore their practical applications, and gain hands-on experience by developing your own decentralized solutions using modern tools.

You will also study advanced methods in machine learning and computer vision using Python and PyTorch, apply deep learning to medical imaging, and create your own machine learning project.

The program combines lectures, discussions, and coding exercises, offering both in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in blockchain technology and machine learning model development. Expect a full schedule of interactive sessions, teamwork, networking with international participants, and visits to local companies.

This summer school is ideal for undergraduate and graduate students in computer science, information systems, data science, or related fields. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate worth 6 ECTS credits.

The summer school will take place from August 10 -14, 2026, and August 17- 21, 2026, and will be taught entirely in English on campus at OTH Regensburg. The program also includes time to explore the UNESCO World Heritage medieval center of Regensburg and other cities in Germany and Europe.
