While studying at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, majoring in 075 Marketing, I, Dariia Tetervak, took part in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program (4th semester of the 2023–2024 academic year), in accordance with the terms of the project between KNUTD and the UNIVERSITY OF FOGGIA (ITALY).
Together with me, the following students also participated in the program:Arina Peikova (major: 075 Marketing), Ostap Onishchenko (major: 073 Management), Yuliia Herlinska (major: 072 Finance, Banking, and Insurance).

Study Conditions at the University
Participating in the Erasmus+ program was a truly enriching experience for me. The high level of education I gained access to was evident from the very first weeks of study.
The teaching approaches, class formats, and overall atmosphere became a strong motivation for me to engage in deeper learning, professional growth, and reconsideration of my own educational goals.

We mostly studied in the Faculty of Management and Economics building, and occasionally in the Faculty of Economics building.

The professors treated us as if we were their own students - demanding yet genuinely supportive. At times, we even felt we received more attention than others, as they understood the challenges of adapting to a new academic and cultural environment.
The classes were held to a high standard, and my favorite subject, Business English, quickly became the one I attended with true enthusiasm and joy.

Exams, Stress, and Success. The exams were undeniably stressful! But the experience - and the results - were absolutely worth every nerve I spent. Walking out of an exam room with a high grade in hand, I realized that every sleepless night and every challenge had been completely justified.
In the end, I passed all my exams with excellence, and that became one of my greatest personal achievements during this period.
People Who Became Family
In Italy, I found my circle of friends - my “Foggia 27 team”, a group of students brought together by the academic mobility program. We lived together, studied together, and supported one another through everything.
Some of them I had known before the trip, while others entered my life unexpectedly. After the Carnival in Manfredonia, I met a new friend with whom I formed a truly close bond. She became the person who supported all my ideas — even the craziest ones.

A Journey of Growth
The experience I gained at the University of Foggia taught me not to fear change, to trust myself, and to value every moment of growth.
Taking part in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program gave me a new level of confidence, a fresh perspective on education, and a deep understanding of how important it is to step outside of your comfort zone and embrace the unknown.
