RESEARCH AREA

Energy management and energy efficiency.

ACTIVITIES
  1. Implementation of the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Energy Efficiency of Buildings";
  2. Increasing public awareness of energy efficiency and energy saving;
  3. Formation of energy awareness as a culture of energy consumption and resource efficiency;
  4. Support of energy efficiency and energy saving projects;
  5. Improving the educational process of training energy managers according to bachelor's and master's training programs in real conditions of acquiring practical competencies;
  6. Achieving better energy saving results by using equipment and technologies of advanced domestic and foreign companies;
  7. Joint implementation of applied research in the field of energy efficiency in the interests of customer enterprises;
  8. Joint search for partners with the project office of the University and establishment of stable relations with international donor and grant organizations and companies in order to attract funding for the implementation of innovative technologies in the field of energy efficiency and participation in international competitions;
  9. Development of educational material, its adaptation to the needs of the customer;
  10. Selection of teachers-trainers with further improvement of the level of their professional competence;
  11. Development of methodology, content and training materials for trainers;
  12. Creating an appropriate educational environment for novice trainers;
  13. Conducting trainings, seminars;
  14. Improving the training of energy auditors for the purpose of their certification by accredited commissions, as required by EU Directives 27 and 31;
  15. Establishing partnership relations with domestic and foreign energy organizations.

  • Development of projects for the introduction of energy-efficient equipment and technologies, their implementation by order of enterprises and individuals;
  • Conducting energy audits of enterprises and buildings;
  • Conducting energy certification of buildings;
  • Preparation of laboratory equipment and creation of conditions for the work of the Commission for professional certification of persons who intend to carry out activities on the certification of energy efficiency of buildings and examination of engineering systems;
  • Organization and holding of special courses, seminars, online seminars, training sessions, internships, improvement of professional competence in another form that does not require obtaining a corresponding license in energy efficiency;
  • Organization and conducting training sessions, courses, group classes, electives, seminars, and workshops in the field of energy efficiency in excess of the scope established by the curricula, with or without the issuance of relevant educational documents;
  • Organization and holding of scientific events (conventions, seminars, conferences, etc.), if this is not provided for in training plans and does not belong to activities financed from the general fund of state and local budgets in the field of energy efficiency;
  • Provision of short-term (up to one week) use to individuals and legal entities of areas and/or separate premises of the CEE, which are temporarily not used in educational, industrial, scientific activities for conducting educational, scientific, ceremonial, cultural and other events (except events held for a religious purpose or events of political parties), as well as other movable and immovable property or equipment in the event that this does not worsen the study conditions or the social and living conditions of persons studying or working at the University;
  • Provision of temporary use of the center's space for placement of equipment and technologies from manufacturing companies for the purpose of familiarizing students and university employees with their technical and operational characteristics;
  • Organization of testing of electrical equipment and electrical wiring, verification of water and energy metering devices, other technical devices, equipment and systems in accordance with the procedure established by law; carrying out work on water quality control, analysis of wastewater and precipitation;
  • Organization of work on diagnostics, standardization and certification of technological processes, equipment and materials, metrological support, technical protection of information;
  • Development and preparation of informational materials, stands, bulletins, brochures, etc. at the request of organizations;
  • Organization of visits to specialized international and domestic exhibitions, seminars, and conferences.
