Methods and means of creating the properties of design objects and technology that determine their aesthetic, socio-cultural, ergonomic, functional-operational, marketing and environmental characteristics.
The training and research laboratory "Delcam CRISPIN" was created in 2013 at the Department of Design and Technology of Leather Products on the base of KNUTD together with the Delcam CRISPIN (England) partnership. The training and research laboratory of “Delcam CRISPIN” performs educational, methodical and scientific research functions of the development, design and introduction of innovative fashion industry computer technologies into the educational process.
The main direction of scientific activity:
- Development of modern designs of footwear, special, preventive and haberdashery products using computer-automated systems;
- Development of adapted design methods in 3D space based on modern Delcam software complexes;
- Development of orthopedic (prophylactic) footwear taking into account individual anthropometric data in the DelcamOrtoTic software complex;
- Research of anthropometric data of different age groups and development of pads in the LastMaker environment;
- Development of methods for designing and correcting details of the bottom of shoes in the SoleEngineer software complex.
