Theoretical and experimental research on the problems of designing clothing models for various purposes and other products of the light industry using modern computer technologies and CAD "JULIVI" and CAD "Gratsia" (Ukraine). Scientific activity is aimed at the preparation and development of informational and methodical support for systems of automated design of clothes for various stages of design and planning, research of the influence of fabric properties on the design of the tectonically determined shape of the product, determination of the regularities of the formation of clothes based on the principles of the tectonic approach. The main areas of scientific activities are:
- research of the principles of a systematic approach to the design of tectonic forms of clothing with the use of modern information technologies;
- development of theoretical and methodological bases for considering the physical and mechanical properties of fabrics in the development of complex three-dimensional forms of clothing with the aim of using the results in the three-dimensional design of clothing in CAD.
