The purpose of the activity of scientific student club: identification of the most capable and talented students of higher education who are capable of scientific and research work; creation of organizational and methodical conditions for creative growth of youth; mastering general scientific competences aimed at a comprehensive understanding of the problem within the subject area and taking into account interdisciplinary connections; involvement of higher education students to participate in research activities of the departments.

Main tasks: ensuring a more complete learning of educational program material and deepening of knowledge of the disciplines being studied; development of creative thinking, expansion and formation of the scientific outlook of the club members; mastering the methods of scientific research, development of scientific thinking and analytical abilities; development of skills to apply theoretical knowledge in practice; development of critical thinking and the ability to comprehensively solve problems, generate new ideas, while demonstrating creativity; acquiring organizational skills and conducting independent research in accordance with the profession; participation in research activities at the University, all-Ukrainian and international levels in the areas of scientific research; development of scientific schools, creative teams, training of a reserve of young scientists and teachers within the walls of KNUTD.
