In the fall of 2024, students of the Department of Private and Public Law, majors 081 «Law» and 052 «Political Science» actively participated in the activities of the scientific group «Discussion».

The topics of the meetings included the analysis of political ideologies, democratic concepts and their alternatives. Students researched such issues as the influence of liberalism, socialism, and conservatism on contemporary politics, as well as analyzed different political regimes. The practical part of the meetings included interactive discussions and modeling of political processes.
As part of the scientific work, on September 27, the group's delegation took part in the «Youth will rebuild» forum, organized by the Kyiv City Youth Council with the support of the KMDA.
Headed by the head of the primary trade union organization of KNUTD students, Tetyana SYNKEVICH (student of higher education in the specialty 281 «Public management and administration»), Stepan ZAVOROTNIY and Tetyana CHERNETSKA (students of higher education in the specialty 052 «Political Science»), the residents of Gurtkov participated in the discussion of the idea of involving young people in state-building processes and reconstruction of Ukraine.
The participants prepared a resolution with proposals for the formation of the country's recovery policy, which was submitted to state authorities.
The topics of the meetings of the scientific circle «Discussion» included a detailed study of political ideologies, such as liberalism, socialism and conservatism, as well as an analysis of the concepts of democracy and its alternatives. The participants expanded their knowledge about the influence of these ideologies on modern politics, gained experience in analyzing various political regimes.
The students used the acquired knowledge and work in the framework of the II All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference «Problems of realizing the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of legal subjects in Ukraine» (October 8, 2024, KNUTD, Kyiv).
At the conference, students presented theses on topical issues regarding the prospects of Ukraine's integration into the European Union, emphasizing the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU standards, which directly correlates with the concepts of political systems and ideologies studied in the group.
The results of their research were presented by Anastasia PIKA, Darya DEMYANIUK, and Kateryna MARTYNENKO (graduates of higher education in the specialty 081 «Law»).
The activity of students in the scientific circle not only contributes to the development of their professional competences, but also forms a new generation of leaders, ready to participate in the restoration and development of Ukraine. The youth of KNUTD continues to play an important role in social and scientific initiatives, emphasizing their importance in shaping the future of the state.
