On 13 March 2025, the Department of Philology and Translation hosted a regular meeting of the student research group "School of the Young Linguist". The topic of the meeting: "Machine Translation: from Theory to Practice". The event was hosted by the head of the club, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Translation, M.O. Vyshnevska.

During the event, students had the opportunity to:

• Learn about the history of machine translation development and its current trends.
• Explore different approaches to machine translation: from rule-based systems to neural network technologies.
• Discuss the advantages and limitations of modern machine translation tools.
• Test the performance of popular translation platforms and analyze the results.

The meeting was a valuable experience for students, providing them with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in working with modern translation technologies.
