On August 20, 2024, the scientific club “Vocational Education” held its regular meeting. This time, the topic was dedicated to the pressing issue of the significance of foreign language proficiency in professional success. The meeting was organized to discuss the importance of foreign language skills for career advancement, as well as to analyze specific examples and trends in the labor market.

The meeting began with an introductory speech by the head of the club, associate professor Ksenia Kugai, who emphasized the growing role of foreign languages in the modern world and their impact on various professional fields.

Then, the participants presented their reports on the following issues:

• The significance of foreign languages for different professions. Specific examples from fields such as IT, marketing, tourism, and science were analyzed.
