On April 16, 2025, the Department of Philology and Translation held a regular meeting of the scientific club “Vocational Training”. The meeting topic was “Language Education in Training Specialists in a Multicultural Environment”.

The head of the club, Associate Professor Kseniia Kugai, opened the session by emphasizing the importance of intercultural communication in today’s world. The participants discussed how language education contributes to developing tolerance, understanding cultural differences, and practical cooperation in international teams. The role of foreign languages in professional mobility and the integration of specialists into the global labor market were also addressed. Particular attention was given to teaching methods that promote the development of intercultural competence among students.

The participants shared their personal experiences of studying and interning in multicultural environments. The meeting helped reinforce the understanding that language education is a means of communication and a vital tool for cultural integration.
