In May 2025, a student team from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), representing the scientific and technical club “Robotics” of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, took part in the national engineering competition “MHP Tech Hackathon for Team”.
The team, supervised by Associate Professor Oleksandr Manoilenko, included the following students:
During the hackathon, the KNUTD team worked on an engineering challenge focused on automation in agro-industrial processes. The students demonstrated strong skills in CAD modeling, robotics, applied mechanics, and teamwork, delivering an innovative technical solution under time constraints.
Their participation directly aligns with the core mission of the “Robotics” club — developing engineering solutions to improve technological machines and production lines, particularly from the standpoint of mechanical engineering.
