On April 17, 2025, as part of the celebration of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies Day at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), the Department of Mechanical Engineering held a student competition in engineering 3D modeling using SolidWorks.

The event was opened with welcoming speeches by:

Prof. Ihor Panasiuk — Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies, Doctor of Technical Sciences;

Assoc. Prof. Oleksii Voliannyk — Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, PhD in Technical Sciences.

The competition brought together talented students who demonstrated speed, precision, and creativity in building complex CAD models.

Winners of the competition:

Zhlali Zhigad Takharovych — 1st place

Artem Ripa — 2nd place

Mykhailo Didyk — 3rd place

The event showcased the high level of professional training among KNUTD students and their ability to develop effective engineering solutions under time constraints.
