In the period from March to May 2025, according to the work plan of the student scientific club “Business-oriented communication”, four meetings were held under the guidance of Liudmyla Roienko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philology and Translation of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.

On March 13, 2025, during a meeting of the scientific club, students studied the functional vocabulary of English used in accordance with the topic ‘Making written requests’. The participants of the meeting deepened their knowledge and improved their language skills in the use of English clichés and phrases used in the presentation and sale of a product or service, as well as practised writing an email on the topic ‘Requesting a document from a college; following up on a request for information by a client for purchasing a product or service’.

During the meeting of the club, which took place on March 24, 2025, higher education applicants mastered the functional vocabulary of English used in accordance with the topic ‘Dealing with payments’. The students deepened their knowledge and improved their language skills in the use of stable phrases and clichés of English used in the presentation and sale of a product or service, as well as practised writing an email on the topic ‘Invoicing for a product or service’.

During the meeting of the research group, which took place on April 14, 2025, the participants studied the functional vocabulary of the English language used in accordance with the topic "Negotiating in business. Talking things through". Higher education applicants expanded their knowledge and improved their language skills in the use of stable phrases and clichés of the English language used in business transactions, discussed ethical aspects of business communication, and practised writing an email on the topic ‘Negotiating business terms’.

On April 22, 2025, in the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design held next meeting of the scientific circle «Ukrainian language in professional communication» on the topic «Concepts of language and speech culture», with the aim of providing practical assistance to students in raising the general level of speech culture, in particular improving communicative skills and abilities of speakers. The leader of the circle is I. Ya. Dzyra, prof. Department of Philology and Translation, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Doctor of Historical Sciences. Students of BDh5-224 and BDm2-24 groups took part in the meeting, who in practice mastered the rules of language ethics and methods of forming speech culture. Group members also familiarized themselves with the general requirements for oral business communication and norms of oral business communication.

On May 12, 2025 during the meeting of the club, the participants actively used functional English vocabulary in communication, which is used in accordance with the topic ‘Informing colleagues about changes’. Higher education applicants deepened their knowledge and improved their language skills in the use of English clichés and phrases used in reporting news, announcing information about changes in work activities, and prepared an email on the topic "Notifying co-workers of a change in procedure. Notifying co-workers of company news".
