Students and young scientists from the scientific circle»‘Polymer Materials in Pharmacy» under the guidance of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Ishchenko demonstrated a high level of scientific development by presenting the results of their research at the VII Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference «The State and Prospects of Development of the Chemical, Food and Perfume and Cosmetics Industries»:

• «Liquid protective gloves – an innovative approach to skin protection» (O. Kramar, O.V. Ishchenko, V. Bondarchuk);
• «Biomimetics in hair care» (Y. Kunitska, O.V. Ishchenko, O. Petrenko);
• «Emollient cream with ceramides for the body» (V. Statsenko, O.V. Ishchenko).

The development of technology for pain-relieving medical products based on non-woven materials obtained by electroforming continues.

The club is particularly proud of the scientific projects of the students of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, prepared under the scientific guidance of O.V. Ishchenko. The laboratory base of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy has become a platform for the creation of eight innovative research projects, including:

•    «Obtaining hydrogel films based on chitosan and starch for wound healing» (Sofia Podobulkina, Lyceum № 34 named after V. Maksimenko) – 1st place, «Medicine» section;

• «Research on analgesic hydrogel films» (Oleksandra Vovk, Lyceum № 142, Kyiv) – 3rd place, «Medicine» section;
• «Determining the quality of detergents, their composition and role in everyday life» (Eva Lemesheva, Lyceum №. 34 named after V. Maksimenko) – certificate, «General and Inorganic Chemistry» section.

The achievements of the club members once again confirm the high scientific potential of young researchers.
