On August, 21, 2024, a regular meeting of the scientific club ‘Business-oriented communication’ (English) was held, scientific superviser Liudmyla Vitaliivna Roienko. During the meeting of the club, higher education students studied the functional vocabulary of the English language, which is used according to the topic ‘Selling a product’, and demonstrated presentations. The students deepened their knowledge and improved their language skills in the use of English clichés and phrases used when ordering a product or service, and also practised writing an email on the topic ‘Thanking a customer for purchasing a product or service’. They also discussed the peculiarities of preparing abstracts for the conference on economic topics.
