A TRAINING SESSION ON THE CHALLENGES OF EMBEDDED SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SCIENTIFIC CLUB OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES

Within the framework of the scientific club "Embedded Systems and Internet of Things Design," a training session on "The Challenges of Embedded System Development" was held. The event, led by the head of the club, Associate Professor of the Department of ICT, Y. O. Lebedenko, focused on the key challenges that arise during the design and implementation of complex embedded solutions.

During the training, participants learned about various stages of development, from component selection to software optimization. Special attention was paid to the analysis of common errors and ways to avoid them. Students learned about the importance of effective resource management, the specifics of working with memory and power consumption constraints, and methods for debugging and testing real-time systems.

In addition, the event addressed aspects of cybersecurity and data protection in embedded systems. Participants reviewed examples of vulnerabilities that can occur in IoT devices and learned about modern approaches to addressing them. Practical case studies helped students better understand how to implement secure communication channels and ensure a system's resilience to external threats.

The knowledge gained during the training is highly relevant for future specialists in the field of embedded systems. Understanding key problems and the ability to find effective solutions are important competencies that significantly increase competitiveness in the job market. These skills open up new opportunities for career growth and allow for successful work on innovative projects in the IT sector, industry, and scientific research.
