On 23 October 2024, the Department of Philology and Translation of the IHTT held a regular meeting of the Chemical Technology Scientific Club. The topic of the meeting was an important issue of our time – Creative software.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the group, senior lecturer Vitaliia Denysenko briefly introduced the purpose and objectives of the meeting. It was noted that creative software has become an important part of our lives.

The meeting covered such topics as the importance of developing software used to create animations and special effects, presentations, and websites.

Principles of creative design

The participants of the group introduced the audience to the basic principles of creative design: visual harmony, minimalism, interactivity, individuality, adaptability.

Creative Design of Presentations, Layouts, Websites

The participants of the workshop talked about creative design tools, namely for creating presentations. Among them, Canva is particularly popular, offering ready-made templates, a simple interface, creative ideas for slideshows, and Prezi, an interactive presentation with a ‘journey’ effect.

Creative website design

The students discussed website builders with modern animations, such as Wix, Tilda, website builders with immediate conversion into an interactive website, such as Webflow, Figma, Framer.

The meeting of the Technology research group demonstrated a high level of student interest in the current issues of using creative software in society. The discussion of the topic allowed the participants to better understand and compare creative design tools with their advantages and disadvantages, making it easier to choose the most convenient option.
