Higher education students who are members of the scientific circle «Polymer Materials in Pharmacy» under the guidance of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Olena Ishchenko visited the 23rd International Exhibition of the Beauty Industry InterCHARM-Ukraine 2025, which took place on 17-19 September at the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv.

The primary focus of the club members was on the application of polymeric materials in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. The students learned about the latest polymer carriers for active ingredients, modern film formers, emulsifiers, and thickeners, which are widely used in the production of cosmetics, pharmaceutical gels, capsules and film coatings for tablets.

Of particular interest were innovative solutions in the field of biodegradable polymers and materials, focused on the concept of sustainable development, in particular, packaging polymers that meet environmental and safety requirements. Students had the opportunity to attend master classes, where the role of polymers in shaping the consistency, stability, and Consumer properties of cosmetics were clearly demonstrated.

Visiting the exhibition helped to deepen the students' knowledge of modern applications of polymer materials, broadened their understanding of the interdisciplinary significance of polymers in pharmacy and cosmetology, and became an important stage in their professional development.
