On November 7, at the Department of Digital Art, the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, under the guidance of Svitlana Pashukova and Uliana Balan, a meeting of the scientific and creative club “Sketching Club” was held in a round table format, where participants discussed the results of the international sketch challenge “INKTOBER-2025”.
The event became a platform for discussing the best works of this year’s sketch marathon, creative discoveries, and experiments of the participants. Students presented their own series of sketches, shared their techniques, and analyzed artistic strategies that help develop a unique style and visual thinking.

“INKTOBER” is an international challenge that brings together thousands of artists from around the world every year to draw daily on specific themes throughout October. Participating in it has become not only a test of professional endurance, but also a training in inner discipline, consistency, and the ability to remain creative for thirty-one days. A daily sketch is not just a drawing, but a challenge to oneself: to find time, ideas, and inspiration when there are countless tasks and deadlines. This practice cultivates patience, focus, and perseverance – both in creativity and in learning. It helps you stay in touch with your inspiration and proves that artistic development is, above all, systematic, persistent work that transforms effort into skill.

The traditional meeting of participants after the challenge turned into a real creative exchange of experiences – with lively discussions, inspiration, and a desire for improvement. Such events shape the professional environment of young artists, promote the development of critical thinking, and support the dynamics of the University’s artistic life.
We draw every day! We get inspired every day! We grow every day!
