On November 10, 2025, on the occasion of World Science Day for Peace and Development, a meeting of the student scientific club “Cross-Cultural Management and Business Communication Skills in the Hospitality Industry” was held, organised by Prof. Akhmedova O., Department of Tourism, Hotel, and Restaurant Business.

This day serves as an excellent opportunity to emphasise the vital role of science in promoting peace, sustainable development, and the well-being of society.

During the meeting, participants discussed the topic “Causes of Conflicts and Methods for Their Effective Resolution in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Industry.” Young researchers analysed the typical causes of conflict situations in the hospitality sphere, identified ways to prevent them, and explored the role of communication culture in establishing effective interpersonal interaction within teams.

Such initiatives contribute to the development of anatowardsl thinking and research skills, as well as the formation of professional competencies among future specialists in the tourism industry who are oriented toward delivering high-quality service, promoting tolerance, and fostering a culture of effective communication.
