“STAGE DIALOGUE”: FROM SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH TO CREATIVE SUCCESSES

The Department of Performing Arts and Culture at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design continues to sum up the results of a fruitful creative semester. In December, another meeting of the student research group “Stage Dialogue” took place, which was special: this time, the participants reported on real successes in the international arena.

The main topic of the meeting, led by the head of the department, Vira Burnazova, was the analysis of the results of the participants' participation in the international two-round multi-genre arts festival-competition “ZORYANYI PROSTIR” and “GOLDEN LEGACY ARTS.”

While the October meeting was devoted to innovative technologies and scientific principles of vocal independence, the December meeting proved that the chosen methodology works. Students majoring in 026 Performing Arts and B6 Performing Arts brilliantly implemented their creative projects, receiving high marks from the international jury.

The results of the performance were confirmed by honorary awards. The students demonstrated a high level of vocal training, showing free command of their voices. Each participant received official recognition, which added to the professional portfolios of our future actors. The certificates awarded to the winners were the best proof of the club's effectiveness. The first prize diplomas were awarded to students Diana Savchenko, Yelyzaveta Hladun, and Valeria Gryzhak; the second prize diploma was awarded to Kira Stulnikova (“ZORYANYI PROSTIR”). The diploma of the winner of the First Prize was awarded to Karina Prokopenko; the diplomas of the winners of the Second Prize were awarded to Sofia Pukhalskaya and Daria Torianik (“GOLDEN LEGACY ARTS”). The head of the student research group, Vira Burnazova, and the leading accompanist of the department, Yulia Makhotina, were also recognized for their creative mentorship.

During the meeting, participants reflected on how the psychological aspects and technological solutions discussed earlier had helped in the context of the remote format of the competition. Participants noted that the use of software tools for self-analysis of timbre allowed them to achieve better intonation, techniques for overcoming stage stress, and the skills developed in the club's classes helped them maintain emotional contact with the audience even through the screen. The development of performing independence allowed each student to create a unique artistic image.

V. Burnazova congratulated the students on their successful participation in “ZORIANYI PROSTOR” and “GOLDEN LEGACY ARTS” and emphasized that this success is only the beginning. The activities of the “Stage Dialogue” club will continue to be a platform where scientific research is transformed into stage achievements.

The slogan of the competition – “Your path to success begins now!” – has become a reality for our students. Ahead lie new scientific meetings, new experiments, and, undoubtedly, new resounding victories on national and international stages!

We are proud of our higher education seekers and the scientific achievements of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture!
