On September 5, 2025, within the framework of the work of the scientific group "Scientific developments in the design and manufacturing of fashion industry products" (heads: associate professors of the Department of Fashion Technology Antonina Babych and Tymofiy Lipsky), a seminar "Innovations in fashion industry products" was held.

The event was held in the conditions of the creative laboratory of the Department of Fashion Technology, KNUTD. The heads of the group Antonina Babych and Tymofiy Lipsky held a seminar in the specified thematic format, familiarized applicants with modern innovations in the industry and in particular in fashion industry products.

As examples, finished products of students of the Department of Fashion Technology were given, made under the guidance of A. Babych and T. Lipsky as part of the work of the circle, which are prizewinners of the international competition "Pechersk Chestnuts-2025".

During the seminar, the importance of using creative ideas, innovative technologies, equipment, methods and tools for the development and production of designer collections and single products of the fashion industry was emphasized.

All participants of the seminar shared their views on the use of classical and innovative approaches to the development of design and technologies for manufacturing and finishing products from materials of different groups and properties to create modern products, taking into account fashion trends and the importance of innovations in technology for the development of designs and shapes of products for various purposes.

Students presented scientific reports and their own developments on the topic of the seminar: "Innovations in products of the fashion industry."

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere. The results of the scientific circle can be used in further research by the circle members; in the educational process for students studying in the educational programs "Fashion Industry"; in practice during the development of product design and manufacturing technology, as well as for the preparation of scientific publications and creative works on this topic.
