For the fourth year in a row, at the invitation of Oleh Lozovyi, Director of the Polygreen plant of the Biosphere Corporation (Fastiv), students and teachers of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving have been visiting the enterprise and celebrating World Recycling Day together.

Students majoring in “Environmental Engineering” and “Chemical Technologies and Engineering” together with teachers got acquainted with the technology of processing waste polyethylene film from the sorting process to the production of secondary granules of various nomenclature and finished polyethylene products. Oleg Lozovy introduced students to samples of products of the Biosphere corporation made from secondary raw materials: bags for retail chains, garbage bags, packaging film and other products.

Oleh Lozovyi provided comprehensive answers to all the questions that arose from the guests, and advice was also given on how to sort household waste, thus making a full contribution to the ecological future.

For the students of the department, it was also a good opportunity to get acquainted with the place of future practice or employment.
