Purpose of the scientific club: creating a base of practical professional knowledge for design students in the process of studying the fashion experience of different times and peoples. Main tasks: practical reproduction and popularization of the historical costume according to the methodology developed at the Department of Art and Fashion Design in recent years; conducting thematic shows using reconstructed costumes; conducting photo sessions using reconstructed costumes; conducting exhibitions based on own projects and participating in exhibitions of the relevant direction; cooperation with domestic historical, artistic and ethnographic museums in order to collect information on the history of costume and cut. Research topic of the student club: improvement of the method of historical costume reconstruction based on the analysis of the latest scientific experience, the study of the symbolic aspect of the traditional Ukrainian costume, the influence of subcultures on fashion design, current trends in modern fashion design.
