I sincerely congratulate you on the 90th anniversary of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design!

The University is a leader of design education in Ukraine. Thanks to the efforts of many generations of teachers, thousands of young professionals have been trained to represent their alma-mater around the world.

КKyiv National University of Technologies and Design constantly raises its position in world and national rankings of higher education institutions. The University, the only educational institution in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, was ranked 62 among the top fashion schools in the world.

On this day, I would like to sincerely congratulate all pupils, students, and graduates. You have a lot of opportunities to acquire new knowledge, grow above yourself, become smarter. The future of our state, its independence, its sovereignty, its economic strength, peace and tranquility depend, without exaggeration, on your diligence, thirst for knowledge, and honesty.

I also sincerely congratulate all educators – professors, associate professors, teachers. I know for sure that you are proud of your work.

The university is a leader in the field of training of experts for light and chemical industries, fashion industry, artistic and technical modeling and design of industrial products, art and consumer services. It is one of the oldest domestic institutions of higher education of technological profile, which nurtures a number of unique scientific schools recognized in Ukraine and abroad.

УThe University demonstrates its competitiveness by taking high positions in national and international rankings, as eloquently evidenced by the industry ranking of the World's best fashion schools in 2020. The achievements of recent years are the result of the implementation of European standards of higher education, internationalization and introduction of innovations in the activities of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the institution, headed by Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Ivan Gryshchenko.

Over the years, tens of thousands of specialists have been trained here for the economy of Ukraine, the CIS, as well as for Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Today the staff continue and multiply the glorious traditions, set new high goals for further development. Under the Bologna Agreement, the University is successfully implementing European approaches to training a new generation of the nation’s spiritual and intellectual elite.
