Historical Review

The history of the department began from the date of the University foundation in 1930. When in Engineering and Economics Faculty structure were identified: the Department of General Economics and Accounting (Department Head –prof. O. Chornyj), Department of Production Control and Planning (Department Head –prof. M. Shelonin), and Department of Labour Economics (Department Head – A. Gornostaj-Polskyj).

Considering the national economy needs for qualified specialists the department passed different stages of reorganization. In 1999 specialization «Enterprise Economics» was separated, and speciality «Accounting and Audit» was established.

Academic Staff

The department has: 4 professors, including 2 doctors of economic sciences; 8 docents (all candidates of sciences); 2 senior teachers.

Today on Department of Enterprise Economics work:

DENYSENKO Mykola

Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Investments and Construction, Academician of Construction Academy of Ukraine, Technological Academy of Ukraine.

In 1972 graduated from Odessa Civil Engineering Institute.

In 1981 defended PhD thesis.

In 2002 defended the doctoral thesis on the theme «Scientific and Methodological Bases of the Investments Activation», speciality 08.00.03 – «Economy and Management of a National Economy».

Awards:

Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Certificate of honors and breastplates «For Scientific Achievements» and «Excellence in Education of Ukraine». The Order of Saint Vladimir of second degree, and third degree, The Order of Saint Nicholas Thaumaturge, The Order of Michael the Archangel, The Medal «Veteran of Labour».

Teaching subjects: «Economics and innovation organization», «Innovative enterprise development», «Investment activity of enterprise», «Providing of innovations», «Methodology for modern scientific research».

Research interests: investigation of the problems of investment-innovative activity, reformation of economics and its branches, introduction of new technologies to increase production efficiency, practical and methodical problems at all stages of investment process.

Author of over 400 scientific publications, including 30 monographs, textbooks labelled with MES of Ukraine.

VORONKOVA Tayisiya

Ph.D. in Economics, Professor.

In 1970 graduated from Kyiv National Economy Institute named after D.S. Korotchenko majoring in «Production Planning».

In 1986 defended Ph.D. thesis «Development, Formation and Application of Socio-Cultural Fund Measures and Building Construction».

Advance training:

  • 1994 – Washington Academy of Education development (certificate – business advisory)
  •  2009, 2014 – Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Institute of post-graduate training – advance training for teachers (distance teaching).

Teaching subjects: «The anti-crisis enterprise activities», «Investment Management», «Economics and organization of associated enterprises», «Consulting business management», «Formation of enterprise business model».

Research interests: investment-innovative process in economics, business-planning, antirecession activity of enterprises.

Author of over 80 scientific publications.

RAMSKYY Andrey,

Candidate of economic scinces, docent, professor of department of enterprise economics.

In 2003 graduated from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design with honors, specialty «Enterprise Economics» and qualified as master.

Since 2005 works in Kiev National University of Technologies and Design.

In 2010 he upholded his thesis «Formation of investment resources of economy based on savings», specialty 08.00.03 «Economics and management of national economy».

Teaching subjects: «Enterprise economics», «Methodology of modern scientific research».

Fields of research: development of theoretical and methodological foundations of sustainable economic development on the basis of domestic investment resources, namely household investment potential.

Author of more than 50 scientific papers.

BREUS Svitlana

Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor.

Defended Ph.D. thesis «Increase of Economic Security Level on the Base of Production Technological Reconstruction», speciality 21.04.01 «National Economic Security».

Teaching subjects:  «Project Analysis», «Economic forecasting of enterprise development», «Providing of innovations», «Project portfolio management».

Research interests: innovative development of economy, state economic security, economics of higher education, economic security of higher educational establishments.

Author and co-author of over 150 scientific publications.

VOVCHOK Svitlana

Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor.

In 2005 graduated from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design with Master degree in «Management of Enterprises»

In 2009 defended Ph.D. thesis «Theoretical and Methodological Bases of Evaluation and Formation of Enterprise Innovative Potential».

In 2010 was awarded with Mayor of City of Kyiv scholarship for personal creative contribution into the city of Kyiv development, great achievements in social life.

HAVRYLENKO Tetyana

Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor.

In 1995 graduated from Ukraine State Academy of Consumer Industry, majoring in «Enterprise Economics».

In 2006 defended Ph.D. thesis «Enterprise Strategic Management at Crisis Conditions».

Research interests: business set up and development, bringing business management in balance with market requirements.

LOYKO Dar’ya

Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor.

In 2005 graduated from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, majoring in «Enterprise Economics».

In 2012 defended Ph.D. thesis «Innovative Strategy Formation of Sewing Enterprises at Brand Clothes Market».

In 2014 received the academic title - docent of department of enterprise economics.

Loyko Dary’a has 12 patents on useful models and production patterns, 2 rights of authorship certificates on expert program «Universal Expert» and databases «Fashion Strategy» and «Safe Line».

Teaching subjects: «The organization and planning of clothing manufacture», «Economic security of enterprise», «Special section of economics, organization and management», «Enterprise economics», «Enterprise economics and finances», is the head of the economic unit of specialists degree works by specialty «Design and technology of garments”.

Research interests: innovation strategy garment enterprises, innovation in manufacturing garments, garment enterprises economic security.

Research interests: innovative strategy at sewing enterprises, innovations in clothes production, economic security at sewing enterprises.

Author of over 110 scientific publications, including monograph.

SHATSKA Zoryana

Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor.

In 1995 graduated from Ukraine Transport University, speciality «Construction of Highways and Airfields».

In 2010 defended Ph.D. thesis «Adaptive Mechanism of Enterprise Strategy Implementation».

Teaching subjects: «The enterprise economic potential», «Economic regulation of enterprises», «Business valuation and management of the enterprise value», «Enterprise strategy», «Business competitiveness», «Project management», «Economy, organization and management of chemical plants», «Production organization and planning», «Innovation economy».

YANKOVETS Tetyana

In 2012 defended Ph.D. thesis «Development Mechanism of Enterprise Innovative Potential».

SERBENIVSKA Alina

Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor.

In 1998 graduated from Ukraine State Academy of Consumer Industry, speciality «Enterprise Economics».

In 2013 defended Ph.D. thesis «Mechanism of Innovative Processes Activation at Textile Enterprises», speciality – 08.00.04 «Economics and Enterprise Management (by economic activity)».

Research interests: motivation of innovative-oriented solutions in systems of accounting and control of enterprises.

Author of over 25 scientific publications.

SHULGA Valentyna

Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor.

In 2002 graduated from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, speciality «Enterprise Economics».

In 2008 defended Ph.D. thesis «The Mechanism of Strategic Cost Management of Enterprise in a Competitive Environment», speciality – 08.00.04 «Economics and Enterprise Management (by economic activity)».

Teaching subjects: «Strategic cost management (in foreign language)», «Cost management», «Business social providing», «Strategic cost management», «Enterprise economics and finances» (in foreign students), «Enterprise economic management», «University education».

Research interests: strategic cost management, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development strategy for enterprises.

Author of over 30 scientific publications and teaching materials, including books, textbooks labelled with MES of Ukraine.

PAVLOV Vladyslav,

candidate of economic sciences

In 2011 graduated from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, specialty «Management» and qualified as master.

In 2015 upholdeded his thesis «Creative technologies in enterprise development management» and received diploma of candidate of economic sciences, specialty «Enterprise economics and management (by economic activity)».

Teaching subjects: «Investment management», «Economic regulation of enterprise activity»

Fields of research: Enterprise innovative development managment, Enterprise economic security.

Author of 13 scientific papers.

Material and Technical Basis of the Department

The department has modern facilities: 3 lecture rooms, 2 study room, 1 staffroom and consultation room for caring out tutorials. The department is equipped with a sufficient number of computers and copy equipment. The laboratory teaching staff is in charge of organization, lead-up and the educational process conduct, including providing students with teaching materials.

Main scientific achievements of the Department of Enterprise Economics

In 2015, the teachers of the department took an active part in the implementation of:

  • state budget theme DB 16.0448 "Development of the system of information and analytical support for cost management and revenue in terms of implementation of accounting standards" (Associate Professor S. Breus);
  • service-contract entitled "Investigation of the market of fur and fur products in Ukraine" (Associate Professor S. Breus);
  • research theme "Innovation and investment component of financial and economic security at the national, regional, is the micro-level in the context of the constant development " scientific adviser - Doctor of Economics V. Loyko.

In 2015, the teachers of the department prepared for publication and published:

The department was organized and held the International scientific and practical Internet-conference "Investment and Innovation component of the financial and economic security at the national, regional and micro level in the context of constant development", which took place March 20, 2015 in KNUTD. Methodological Support

Educational and methodical work of the Department of Enterprise Economics focused on the task of improving the quality of training of future economists on the basis of an integrated approach to improve the content, organization and teaching methods.

For each academic discipline is formed educational–methodical complexes, which include: program disciplines, content module, supporting lecture notes, tasks for practical training, guidelines and objectives for self and individual work of students, evaluation criteria of the current, modular and final control of students' knowledge, modern methods and technologies of teaching.

The department trains specialists in Enterprise Economics with qualification levels of bachelor and master on the full-time and extramural forms of study. 

BACHELOR IN ECONOMICS

The educational program "Business Economics"

Full-time, part-time, in correspondence-distance

Training period: 4 years full-time, 4 years 5 months of part-time and correspondence-distance.

 

Professional competence:

 

  • thorough knowledge and understanding of the basic economic laws of business, conducting economic documentation using the acquired knowledge and relevant special methods;
  • ability to evaluate the economic state of the enterprise and its individual components (fixed and current assets, personnel, results of operations, etc.) to find the problem, and offer cost-justify the ways of their solution;
  • ability to solve a wide range of problems and challenges by understanding their fundamental economic principles and the use of both theoretical and experimental methods learned from the program of the enterprise economy, carry out calculations of efficiency of the economic feasibility of the development and innovation in the enterprise, have a business plan development skills, strategic and tactical plans of enterprise development, calculation and prediction of technical and economic parameters of the enterprise, using the theoretical knowledge and practical skills;
  • ability to further studies, the ability to formulate problems and find their solutions in the economic activity of the enterprise.

  • to navigate the course of business problems, to be able to solve them; professionally and competently manage the process of changes in the functioning of the enterprise;

In the 2014-2015 academic year Department provides teaching for more than 200 full-time students.

More than 40 students are getting a second degree in the specialty 7.03050401 «Enterprise economics» at the Institute of Postgraduate Education (IPE) KNUTD.

  • Ukrainian diploma competition for students of higher educational institutions, specialty «Enterprise economics» on the education level of «Specialist» Pozharska Natalia awarded with diploma in the nomination «Detailed analysis of enterprise activity» (scientific adviser, docent Shatska Z.Y.).

  • Ukrainian diploma competition for students of higher educational institutions, specialty «Enterprise economics» on the education level of «Master» Pashenko Yana awarded with diploma in the nomination «Detailed analysis of enterprise activity» (scientific adviser, docent Yankovets T.M.).

  • On the 26 of March 2015 a University Olympiad round was held, specialty «Enterprise economics», and took place at the KNUTD Department of Enterprise economics. Prizes were distributed by jury as follows: Bondarenko A.S. - 1st place; Drahiyeva E.G.- 2nd place; Lyaskovska O.O. - 3rd place.

 

  • On the 23 of April 2015 at the XIV Ukrainian scientific conference of young scientists and students «Youth scientific development at the present stage» was held a meeting of subsection «Enterprise economics» of section «Economic, social and political problems of intensification of enterprise innovation activity in Ukraine». The speakers were post-graduate students and students of the KNUTD department «Enterprise economics» and «University of Economics and Law «KROK».

The Department has a student scientific club «Investor», which aims to intensification the theoretical professional knowledge and obtaining information, analytical assessments in research and economic problems of our time, the formation of the student’s cognition specialist role of the professional in the modern enterprise.

Graduates of the department have the opportunity to get a second degree at the Institute of Postgraduate Education of KNUTD in other specialties.

Graduates of KNUTD have an opportunity to continue scientifically research on postgraduate course and achieve Ph.D. in specialties 08.00.03 – «Economy and management of national economy» 08.00.04 – «Economy and management of enterprises (by economic activity)».
