Kyiv College at Qilu University of Technology is a Sino-Ukrainian educational institution, founded in 2019 jointly by Qilu University of Technology (PRC) and Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (Ukraine). The main campus is located at: Changqing District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, People`s Republic of China.
The Institute trains bachelors in Design (by types), Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Chemical Technology and Engineering, and masters in Design (by types), Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy.
The language of training is English.
The first enrollment of bachelors took place in 2019 in the number of 224 students. Currently, the total contingent is over 1000 students.
Training at Kyiv Institute is provided at the following levels:
A student studying at the Institute has an opportunity to continue his studies at KNUTD after two years of study in China. As a result of successful training, the student receives two national standard diplomas — Qilu University of Technology and Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
The double-degree program (double diplomas) is based on the simultaneous development of two related educational programs of QLUT and KNUTD on the basis of an agreed single curriculum and recognition of mobility periods by the partner universities, as well as transfer of educational units (modules) of academic courses studied at the partner university. The double-degree program implies that the educational program is based on a common content and structure, with each partner complementing its own courses, due to which the student gets an opportunity to master two similar programs, using the mechanism of recognition of mobility periods and common programs, academic courses in each of the partner universities. To master this program, the student is simultaneously enrolled in QLUT and KNUTD.
Joint training programs for masters and graduate students are carried out through the academic mobility of students, graduate students, lecturers, as well as joint thesis preparation in the framework of partnership research.
