Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design is involved in twice at international specialized exhibition «Arms and Security – 2017» was held at International Exhibition Centre (10-13.10.2017).

An International specialized exhibition «Arms and Security – 2017» is unique staff for representing of university scientific school developments directed for increasing of country military efficiency, forming of fresh approaches for clothing and textile materials for soldiers, increasing activity of collaboration between scientific organizations of Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

At exhibition were presented innovative developments of polymeric materials using 3D technologies, shielding coatings to protect against electromagnetic radiation of military technology (including thermal imagers, sights, etc.), modern fibrous materials with electrically conductive, magnetic, antibacterial and fungicidal properties. Special attention of visitors was attracted by means of individual protection and armour vests of military staff, footwear and special-purpose clothes.

Such scientific and practical groundwork was made possible by fruitful cooperation with enterprises participating in the Cluster of Light industry. We are grateful for the participation in the implementation of the scientific and innovative developments to LLC «Ra.Da» (Director Andrei Prokhorovsky), PJSC «Chinbar» (General Director Viktor Lishchuk), LLC «Ukrainian shoe alliance» (to the founder Gennady Kosmin), LLC «NPK «Hydrostyle» (director Oleg Pivovar).

During the exhibition the Ministry of Education and Science was held V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems of coordination military-technical and defense-industrial policy in Ukraine. Prospects for the development of arms and military equipment", which with reports were made by the dean of the faculty of design prof. Marina Kolosnichenko, Head of the Chair of Ergonomics and Design of Clothes Assoc. prof. Natalia Ostapenko, assistant professor of the department of technology and design of garments Andrei Kurgansky.

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design invites to collaboration in research projects with all military staff for solving the tasks with ensuring of clothing and textile materials for military staff.
