The Department of Art and Fashion Design continues cooperation with the National Sanctuary “Sophia of Kyiv”. The exhibition "COSTUME LIBRARY: UKRAINIAN BAROQUE", which presents the creative works of students and teachers of the Department, has been going on for the second month.

On February 7, 2023, the exhibition site became the place of the event where professional communication between students and teachers of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD took place. The participants of the meeting were students studying under the educational program "Fashion Design" – bachelors of all the courses (Groups BDo1,2-22, BDo1,2-21, BDo1-3-20, BDo1,2-19), first-year masters studies (MgD2-22), as well as scientific and pedagogical staff: Dean of the Faculty of Design Oksana PASKO, Head of the Department of Art and Fashion Design Kalyna PASHKEVYCH, Head of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design Danylo KOSENKO, teaching staff of the Department of Art and Fashion Design Tetyana KROTOVA, Nataliia CHUPRINA, Galyna KOKORINA, Iryna DAVYDENKO, Petro GARKIN, Olena GERASYMENKO, Department of Multimedia Design Valery SKLYARENKO, Alina SHAURA, and others.

The curator of the exhibition Halyna KOKORINA, PhD, associate professor of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, led a tour of the "Bakery" exhibition halls, told about the stages of work on the reproduction of historical Ukrainian clothing, as well as about the special role of the Kyiv House of Models "Khreshchatyk"; the exposition of its models is presented in another hall, in the formation of Ukrainian fashion.

The students listened to the lecture with enthusiasm, asked questions, considered the artistic and constructive solution of the historical costume replicas, they were interested in the history of the Ukrainian national dress of XVIII–XIX centuries.
