Students pursuing higher education at the Faculty of Arts and Fashion and the Faculty of Design at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design actively engage in international creative competitions and exhibitions in the realm of fashion. This year, KNUTD students participated in an international online juried exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. The competition program took place from October 28th to November 10th, 2023. The online exhibition was organized by Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Faculty of Arts and Design, Department of Fashion Design. The international jury panel included fashion experts from Turkey, Spain, Iceland, Portugal, and Ukraine. Representing Ukraine in the jury was Natalia Ostapenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion in KNUTD.
KNUTD students presented photographs of their creations and fashion collections developed under the guidance of instructors from our university's Department of Fashion and Style and the Department of Art and Fashion Design. All creative works by our students received positive evaluations from the jury and were included in the online exhibition's exposition.
The virtual online gallery showcased works from students at the Faculty of Arts and Fashion: the “Barbiecore” collection (by author Lyibava Bratchykova, supervised by Professor Natalia Ostapenko), a part of the “Brillar” collection (by author Yevgenia Onushko, supervised by Professor Natalia Ostapenko), and an ensemble from the “Symphony of Cultures” collection (by author Yaroslava Shybovska, supervised by Professor Olga Yezhova).

The works of students from the Faculty of Design, pursuing Bachelor's and Master's degrees in " Fashion Design," captured the audience's attention: the model from the "Ukraine is Modern" collection (by author Anhelina Koryakina, supervised by Professor Kalyna Pashkevych), the accessory "Spring in Wings" (by author Aleksandra Sayko, supervised by Professor Olena Kolosnichenko), the costume "Contemporary Upcycling" (by author Christina Garbarenko, supervised by Professor Nataliia Chuprina), the Hydrangea costume (by author Lidia Rassolova, supervised by Associate Professor Iryna Davydenko), the "Turan" men's clothing model (by author Daniil Farbak, supervised by Professor Tetyana Krotova), the "Ballroom Dancing Dress" costume (by author Nataliia Posmiukha, supervised by Senior Lecturer Iryna Chubotina), the jewelry piece "Art-Deco-1" (by author Anastasia Kolesnyk, supervised by Senior Lecturer Iryna Chubotina), sets of women's accessories "New Kyivan Rus" (by author Roman Selskyi, supervised by Associate Professor Galyna Kokorina).
