THIRD TRANSNATIONAL MEETING OF PARTNERS OF THE ERASMUS+ PROJECT EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-2 "3D CONCEPTS OF FASHION FOR EDUCATION IN UKRAINE"

On 26–27 May 2025, a working meeting of the partners of the Erasmus+ project, ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-2' 3D Fashion Concepts for Education in Ukraine' (3D4U), took place. This time, guests from Ukraine, Greece and Germany were warmly welcomed by the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, one of the oldest Romanian technical universities, which belongs to advanced research and educational universities.

The working meeting occurred at the Faculty of Industrial Design and Business Management.

 

Project participants were shown educational and scientific laboratories, including modelling, footwear and accessory design, clothing modelling and design, textile and knitwear production.

 

 

 

 

Natalia Pervaia, head of the 3D4U project, professor of the Department of Fashion Technology, and Doctor of Technical Sciences professor participated in the working meeting from the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD).

 

The working group worked on the project tasks, and partners from Ukrainian universities reported on equipping 3D centres with professional equipment and software to achieve the project's goals.

KNUTD also reported on implementing the task of creating a cooperation platform for the rapid exchange of information between project partners to train students, teachers and professionals in the fashion industry. Project coordinator Evridiki Papachristou noted that the project had passed the halfway point (18 months since its launch) and was showing progress and positive results.

After the working meeting, from 27 to 31 May, training continued to build the capacity of scientific and pedagogical representatives of Ukrainian universities participating in the project: Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), Khmelnytsky National University (KhNU) and Lutsk National Technical University (LNTU) in the field of digital technologies for 3D modelling and design of fashion industry products.

KNUTD was represented at the seminar by Nataliia Pervaia, Professor of the Department of Fashion Technology; Viktoriia Kernesh, Associate Professor of the Department of Fashion Technology; Oksana Vodzinska, Associate Professor of the Department of Fashion Technology; Dariia Kaptiurova, Postgraduate Student of the Department of Fashion Technology, and Maryna Yatsenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Costume Design.
