RESEARCH AREA

Study of the costume tectonic structure in the development of promising clothing collections.

ACTIVITIES

Study of the basics of the shaping theory and the tectonic regularities of the construction of the costume shape, the study of periodic changes in its plastic characteristics and the mechanisms of the interconnection of the components of the geometric structure of the shape: proportionality, scale, rhythm, dynamism, laws of coordination and compatibility of elements of the composition, plasticity, texture, color and ornamentation of materials , decorative decoration of clothes, etc. Development of collections and individual models of clothing and accessories based on various creative sources, taking into account the properties of materials, including innovative materials, principles of sustainable fashion and smart technologies; based on analysis and forecasting of current fashion trends; using modern information technologies and 2D and 3D design computer programs.

LABORATORY EQUIPMENT

Podium, mannequins, mirrors, cutting tables, ironing tables, computer equipment, specialized software.

PAID SERVICES

Development of sketches of clothing models, collections of clothing and accessories based on various creative sources, taking into account the properties of materials and current fashion trends; development of drawings of clothing details using modern information technologies.

Study of fashion trends, properties of materials, innovations in clothing design in order to develop recommendations for the development of promising clothing collections of various assortments and purposes.

Reconstruction of models of historical and national costumes for museums and exhibitions.
