Yana BOIKO, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Department of Philology and Translation.
Ya. Boiko has been working at KNUTD since 2024. In 2007, she graduated with honours from Dnipro National University, majoring in English Language and Literature, with a Master of Philology, Teacher of English Language and Literature qualification. In 2013, she defended her PhD thesis on “Aesthetic Appreciation in a Poetic Text: Linguistic and Cognitive Analysis (Based on the Poetry of English Romanticism)” at the Specialised Academic Council of Donetsk National University, speciality 10.02.04 - Germanic Languages. In 2023, she defended her doctoral dissertation on “Cognitive and Discursive Model of Diachronic Multiple Translations of a Temporally Distant Original Work (Based on the Material of Ukrainian Retranslations of Shakespeare's Tragedies of the XIX-XXI Centuries)” at the Specialised Academic Council of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, speciality 10.02.16 - Translation Studies.
She is the author of more than 70 scientific and educational publications, including 10 articles in scientometric journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, 2 chapters in foreign monographs, and 3 in international journals of Turkey, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom. Participant of national and international conferences.
She has completed internships abroad at Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice (Poland), National Conference of Academic Career Offices, held at the Silesian University of Technology – 2023.
Fields of research: translation studies, linguistic and cultural studies, cognitive discourse studies, cognitive semantics of literary text, conceptology of literary discourse, text stylistics, stylistic lexicology, lexical and phraseological semantics, cognitive semantics of literary text.

Ivan DZYRA, PhD. in Philology, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor.
I.Dzyra has been working at KNUTD since 1990 and at the Department of Philology and Translation since 2023. In 1990, he graduated with honours from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 1995, he received a PhD in Philology, and in 2007, a Doctor of History. He was awarded the academic title of Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Professional Education in 2012. He has published more than 150 scientific and methodological works, including a monograph and a textbook with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (co-authored). He has prepared two PhDs From 2021 to 2022, he wasan examiner at the National Commission for State Language Standards.
Fields of research: historical prose by P. Kulish, works by P. Biletskyi-Nosenko, Cossack chronicles of the eighteenth century, historiography of Ukrainian chronicles, and historical onomastics.

Olena YUFEREVA, Doctor of Philology, Professor.
She has been working at KNUTD since 2023. In 2000, she graduated with honours from Zaporizhzhia State University. In 2004, she defended her PhD thesis. She received a doctorate in philology after completing her doctoral studies at Dnipro National University.
From 2011 to 2016, she was an associate professor at the Department of Journalism at Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. 2016-2017 – Professor of the Department of Slavic Philology at Zaporizhzhia National University. From 2017 to 2023, she was a Professor at the Department of World Literature and Literary Theory, Faculty of Foreign Philology, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University.
From 2018 to 2022, she was a Dissertation Council D 08.051.12 member of the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. From 2018 to 2020, she was a competition jury member to defend students' research papers (Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine).
She has completed international research internships: “Challenges of multilingual education in Ukraine”, University of Tartu, Estonia (2017), “Innovative educational institution of the 21st century – European experience within the framework of the European Commission's LLP model”, Uczelnia Nauk Społecznych, Poland (2017), “Integration of universities into the global educational space: development of international cooperation”, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, People's Republic of China (2022). She took part in the International School of Pedagogical Excellence training as part of the Create Creative Entrepreneurs project of the Create Creative Entrepreneurs Leaders School programme of the British Council Ukraine (2022).
His scientific achievements include more than 100 scientific, educational and methodological works published in professional journals in Ukraine and abroad, including 2 monographs, 1 collective monograph, 2 articles in scientometric journals indexed in Scopus.
Fields of research: postcolonial methodology of literary studies, travel discourse, American and Ukrainian literature of the twentieth century, intermedial relations of literature.

Svitlana FEDORENKO, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor.
S. Fedorenko has been working at KNUTD since 2024. In 1998, she graduated with honours from Kyiv State Linguistic University with a degree in Language (English) and Foreign Literature. In 2017, she defended her doctoral dissertation on “Theory and Methods of Forming Humanitarian Culture of Students of US Higher Education Institutions”. She received a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences degree. In 2019, she was awarded the academic title of Professor of the Department of English Theory, Practice and Translation at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. The author of more than 200 scientific and educational works. She has participated in national and international conferences. She has prepared one candidate of science and four doctors of philosophy. In the academic year 2023-2024, she was a guest lecturer at the Department of English and German Philology at the University of Granada (Spain). She has done internships abroad: 2016 – USA, Austria, Slovak Republic; 2017 – Poland; 2018 – Turkey, Denmark, Poland; 2021 – Spain, Turkey; 2022 – Poland; 2023 – Spain.
Fields of research: pedagogical comparative studies and international education, methods of teaching foreign languages and translation, industry translation, linguistics of professional languages.

Natalia GUDKOVA, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor.
N. Gudkova has been working at KNUTD since 2007. She graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1989, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in 2003, and in 2012 defended her dissertation on “The Formation of the Concept of “Exclusivity” in the Printed Advertising Text of the XIX-XXI Centuries” and received a PhD in Philology. In 2017, she was promoted to Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages.
The author of more than 100 scientific papers and educational and methodological works. She has participated in national and international conferences. She has repeatedly completed internships at UK higher education institutions.
Member of the Scientific and Organising Committee of the International Conference ‘Dialogue of Cultures in the European Education Area’, permanent member of the Ukrainian Association of Cognitive Linguistics and Poetics (UACLiP).

Iryna KORNIEIEVA, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor.
I. Kornieieva has been working at KNUTD since 2003. From 2015 to 2018, she pursued a postgraduate degree at Kyiv National Linguistic University. In 2019, she defended her PhD thesis on “Formation of Professionally Oriented English Competence in the Monologue Speech of Future Designers”. She is the author of of more than 100 scientific papers, 9 educational and methodological works, 1 educational and methodological textbook, co-author of the “English-Ukrainian Glossary of Fashion Industry Terms” and the textbook “ESP: Fashion Industry”. Participant of international and national conferences.
Fields of research: new aspects in education and culture, innovative trends in training specialists in a multicultural and multilingual world, forms, methods, means, and trends in the organisation of the educational process in Ukrainian universities, methods of teaching foreign languages and cultures, linguistics and translation.

Iryna PSHENYCHNA, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor.
I. Pshenychna has been working at KNUTD since 2019. In 2009, she graduated from Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University with a degree in English and foreign literature. In 2011, she graduated from the Odesa National Law Academy with a full university degree and a law degree. In 2014, she defended her PhD thesis in the speciality 13.00.09 - ‘Theory of Learning’. She is the author of more than 30 scientific papers.
Fields of research: independent educational activity, pedagogy, theory and methodology of teaching, innovative methods of teaching English.

Volodymyr DOROSHENKO, PhD in History, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Associate Professor.
V. Doroshenko graduated from O. M. Gorky Kharkiv State University and completed his doctoral studies at the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
He is the author of more than 60 scientific articles, educational and methodological works, and monographs. He has participated in national and international conferences, including those on translation studies, the history of translation, and methods of teaching translation as a speciality. He has practical experience in simultaneous interpreting.
He was one of the organisers and leaders of the Institute of International Relations of the National Aviation University. He contributed to forming and implementing the latest language training system for internationals and diplomats. He initiated the creation of the first EU Information Centre in Ukraine.
He was elected Vice President of Ukraine's Association of Scientists for Innovative Development. He is the author and leader of the International English-language project ‘Music is the Language of the Soul’.
Fields of research: innovative concepts in scientific and pedagogical activities.

Kira TKACHENKO, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor.
K. Tkachenko has been working at KNUTD since 2022. She graduated from Donetsk State University in 1994. In 2011, she defended her dissertation research and received a PhD in Philology. In 2020, she received her second higher education, graduating from Donbas State Pedagogical University with a degree in Ukrainian-English Philology.
She is the author of more than 50 scientific and educational works, including a co-authored monograph abroad. She has published over 20 articles in professional journals in Ukraine and abroad. She annually participates in international and national conferences.
Fields of research: the constructive role of intertextuality in the literature of modernism and postmodernism, the change of genres and literary trends as a subject of synergetics.

Oleksandr MUNTIAN, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor.
O. Muntian has been working at KNUTD since 2023. In 2005, he graduated from Mykolaiv State University named after V.O. Sukhomlynskyi, with a Pedagogy and Methods of Secondary Education degree. Language and Literature. In 2008, he defended his dissertation and received the Candidate of Philological Sciences degree. In 2014, he was promoted to associate professor. In 2020, he graduated from Kherson State University with a degree in Philology (Ukrainian Language and Literature). He received a Master of Philology qualification in Philology (Ukrainian Language and Literature).
He is the author of about 160 scientific and educational-methodical works, including 6 publications in scientometric journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. Participant of national and international conferences. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal “Terminological Herald” (Institute of the Ukrainian Language of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) (category B). He completed a research internship at the University of Mohamed V (Morocco) (April 2018), and at the Tianjin Institute of Foreign Languages (People's Republic of China) (September - December 2019).
Fields of research: business communication in Ukrainian, methods of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language.

Oksana Khalabuzar, PhD. in Pedagogy, Associate Professor.
O. Halabusar has been working at KNUTD since 2024. She graduated with honours from Berdiansk State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Secondary Education (Language and Literature (English)) in 2001. In 2009, she defended her dissertation research “Formation of a Culture of Logical Thinking of Future Specialists.” She received the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. In 2010, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Teaching Methods at Berdiansk State Pedagogical Institute. She has been working at KNUTD since 2024. She graduated with honours from Berdiansk State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Secondary Education (Language and Literature (English)) in 2001. In 2009, she defended her dissertation research ‘Formation of Future Specialists’ Logical Thinking Culture, and received the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. In 2010, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Teaching Methods at Berdiansk State Pedagogical Institute.
She is the author of more than 100 scientific and educational publications, including 3 textbooks with the Ministry of Education and Science stamp, 4 educational textbooks, monographs published abroad, and 3 journal articles in scientometric databases. Participant in national and international conferences. Member of the Public organisation of educators ‘Progresylni’. She was awarded the ‘Excellence in Education’ badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Kateryna SHYHNENKO, PhD. in Pedagogy, Associate Professor.
K. Shykhnenko has been working at KNUTD since 2025.
In 1992, she graduated with honours from Kyiv Pedagogical Drahomanov Institute, Faculty of Philology, and in 1995 – from Grinchenko Kyiv Interregional Institute for Advanced Teacher Training, where she obtained the qualification of an English teacher. In 2015, she defended her Ph.D. thesis on “Development of the Theory of Educational Changes in U.S. Pedagogy” and received the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. In 2020, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training at the Institute of Public Administration and Research in Civil Protection.
The author of more than 90 scientific and educational papers. She has completed internships abroad: 2018 – Germany (“Language testing seminars (STANAG 6001)”), Slovenia (“English teaching faculty development workshop”).
Fields of research: pedagogical comparative studies (higher education in Ukraine and in the USA), research in higher education institutions, methods of teaching ESP.

She graduated from Kyiv State Linguistic University in 2001 with a degree in Language and Literature (English and Spanish) and from National Pedagogical Drahomanov University in 2018 with honours (Master's degree in Higher Education Pedagogy, Andragogy). She is the author of more than 100 scientific papers and educational works, the “English-Ukrainian Terminological Dictionary of Design and Textiles” with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, co-author of the textbooks “Practical Course of English” and “ESP: Design” with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, participant of national and international conferences. She is a member of the NGO “Association of English Language Teachers “TESOL-Ukraine”, an international branch of TESOL, Inc.

M. Vyshnevska has been working at KNUTD since 2003. She graduated from Kyiv State Linguistic University in 2001 with a degree in Language and Literature (English), Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design in 2009 with a degree in Marketing, and National Pedagogical Drahomanov University in 2018 with honours (Master's degree in Higher Education Pedagogy, Andragogy).
She is the author of more than 100 scientific papers and educational works, textbooks: Business communication, English for Specific Purposes: Marketing, English for Specific Purposes: Finance, co-author of the Legal English educational textbook and the English-Ukrainian Dictionary of Legal Terms. She is a member of the NGO ‘Association of English Language Teachers “TESOL-Ukraine”, an international branch of TESOL, Inc.

I. Borolis has been working at KNUTD since 1999. She graduated from Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi State University (Romanсу and Germanic Philology) in 1995. She is the author of 19 methodical instructions, co-author of the English-Ukrainian Dictionary of Legal Terms, the English-Ukrainian Dictionary of Fashion Industry Terms, and the educational textbooks "English for Students of Economics", "Legal English", "ESP: Fashion Industry". Responsible for the specialties “Law”, “Psychology”. She is a member of the NGO “Association of English Language Teachers “TESOL-Ukraine”, an international branch of TESOL, Inc.

L. Roienko has been working at KNUTD since 2005. She graduated from Uman State Pedagogical University in 2002 and National Pedagogical Drahomanov University in 2018 (Master's degree in Philology. Germanic Languages and Literatures (Translation into English)). Author of 7 educational and methodological works.
Fields of research: innovative technologies in teaching foreign languages, comparative and contrastive linguistics, translation studies, phraseology, linguistic and stylistic features of written business communication texts in English.

T. Ketova has been working at KNUTD since 1993. She graduated from the Kyiv State Linguistic University in 1998 and National Pedagogical Drahomanov University in 2018 (Master's degree in Higher Education Pedagogy, Andragogy).
She is the author of 6 scientific articles, the textbook ‘Deutsch für Designer’, more than 20 educational-methodological publications, and co-author of 5 educational and methodical works.
Fields of research: problems of professional text translation (technical, artistic, military), media didactics in foreign language learning, psychology, application of artificial intelligence and neural networks in foreign language learning.

Svitlana KRASNIUK, Senior Lecturer.
S. Krasniuk has been working at KNUTD since 2017. She graduated from Kyiv Slavonic University in 2002 with a degree in Language and Literature (Czech and English), and from National Pedagogical Drahomanov University in 2018 with honours (Master's degree in Higher Education Pedagogy, Andragogy). She completed German language courses in 2002 at the International Centre of Culture and Education.
She is the author of 20 scientific articles in Ukrainian scientific periodicals, 4 articles in foreign scientific indexed publications, co-author of 5 Ukrainian collective monographs and 5 international scientific monographs; participant of national and international conferences with 52 abstracts published; author of more than 10 educational and methodological works.
She is a member of the NGO Association of English Language Teachers ‘TESOL-Ukraine’, an international branch of TESOL, Inc.
Fields of research: modern methods of teaching a foreign language for professional purposes, use of the latest information technologies in teaching foreign languages, machine linguistics, education management.

Svitlana GONCHARENKO, Senior Lecturer.
S. Honcharenko has been working at KNUTD since 2021. She graduated from Izmail State Pedagogical Institute in 1986. She completed advanced training courses at the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Modern Technologies of KNUTD under the “Use of Digital Technologies in the Educational Process” programme in 2022. She is a co-author of business English textbooks for students majoring in Law.
She started her career in 1986 and has many years of experience as a teacher in higher education institutions and as a business and legal English trainer in international companies. She has worked with various global companies, including Mondeleze, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Unilever, ABB, and Octagon. She regularly participates in training and seminars on teaching English (Dinternal, Pearson, RELO).
She is the author and co-author of articles in Ukrainian periodicals and indexed foreign journals, a monograph co-author, and a participant in international and all-Ukrainian conferences.
Member of the public organization "Association of English Teachers "TISOL-Ukraine" (TESOL-Ukraine), the international branch of TESOL, Inc., and the International Association of Teachers of English IATEFL Ukraine.
Fields of research: English teaching methodology, research into the method of teaching language through solving tasks (Task-Based Language Teaching), English in the professional activities of a civil servant.

Inna MAKHOVYCH, Senior Lecturer.
I. Makhovych has been working at KNUTD since 2021. She graduated from Ivan Ohienko Kamianets-Podilskyi National University, where in 2016, she received a bachelor's degree in the field of "philology", in 2017 - a specialist's diploma in the speciality "Language and Literature (English)" and in 2018, she completed a master's degree in the speciality "Language and Literature (English)". Author of over 30 scientific publications, participant in all-Ukrainian and international conferences. Actively implements modern educational technologies, in particular gamification, to increase the efficiency and individualization of the educational process.
Fields of research: pedagogy, application of gamification in the educational process, use of information technologies in education.

Natalya LIUBYMOVA, Senior Lecturer.
N. Liubymova has been working at KNUTD since 2022. She graduated from Horlivka State Pedagogical Institute with honors in 2001, majoring in "Translation, Language and Literature". She has 10 years of teaching experience in higher education institutions in Ukraine. She has practical experience as a translator (English and French).
Fields of research: translation in international communications, specifics of international relations.

V. Petrenko has been working at KNUTD since 2024. In 1999, she graduated from Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi with a degree in "English Language and Literature and German Language". A teacher of the highest category, has experience working with different age groups.
