Purpose of the research group: on the basis of research on modern innovations and trends in the formation of the architectural and subject-spatial environment, to identify and reveal promising areas of scientific and practical activity in environmental design. Main tasks: analysis of the latest scientific and technological achievements in the formation of the living environment; identification of the most relevant areas of modern scientific (master’s) research in environmental design; establishment of the main factors and conditions for the formation of modern environmental design objects; research and analysis of advanced domestic and foreign experience regarding design features of various environmental design objects; determination of compositional techniques and artistic means of forming environmental objects and creating their modern design; development of recommendations and proposals for the design of environmental systems and facilities. Topics for scientific research of the student group: modern scientific studies of the problems of sustainable development in environmental design; typological and system-structural principles of the environment formation of residential and public buildings based on modern innovations and best experience in their design and construction; the use of innovative technologies and modern building materials in the architectural environment design; global trends in the formation of the interior space of modern civil buildings; basic principles of using compositional techniques and artistic means in the design of various environmental objects.
