KNUTD Institute for Internationalization of Higher Education and Science, established in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 02.06.2017 №1 / 9-312 for implementation of the KNUTD Internationalization Program for 2019-2023. Based on the order of the Rector of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD) from November 26, 2019 № 269.

Enhancing Internationalization in the field of educational and research activities and forming an effective system of international relations capable of contributing to the strategic tasks of the University and actively implementing the international dimension in all basic fields of KNUTD activity.

Guided by the principles of the International Grand Charter of Universities to increase the competitiveness and international rank of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design in the world market of educational services, providing, through the internationalization of scientific research, education and project activity, on the basis of favorable English-speaking environment creation and native, foreign professional youth elite preparation.

• Educational activities: preparation of foreign students at faculties, institutes and centers; abroad in joint with higher education institutions of foreign countries; at the preparatory department for foreigners; teaching students in English-speaking groups.
• Creation of optimal conditions for academic mobility for teachers and students of the University, providing the educational process with highly qualified personnel with international experience in the organization of educational work.
• Planning, implementing and coordinating events to promote and enhance the image of the University among international scientific, educational, expert, business audiences and improve the status of KNUTD in the QS Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings, Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), Scopus, TOP-200 in Ukraine and others.
• Coordination and asistance of structural subdivisions in the implementation of strategic plans and tactical events within the frame of University's internationalization program.
• Creating a University environment that is auspicious to the internationalization of educational and scientific activities, public relations based on the development of the English language environment and comprehensive support for international events in which the University acts as an organizer or participant.
• Increasing the number of international students. Establishing friendly relations between students from different countries and Ukraine, in-depth development of intercultural relations in the context of a multinational contingent.
