The main purpose of specialization is to acquire knowledge, develop innovative and creative thinking, as well as mastering the general, professional and information-digital competencies in the organization and management of the hotel and restaurant business.
The main objectives of the program are: training of masters who can successfully manage enterprises in the hotel and restaurant business, socially mobile, competitive and able to solve problems of innovation, research, creative and practical nature, ensuring high quality development of the hospitality industry.
International cooperation in science and education is implemented through the participation of teachers and students of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business in projects, international conferences, round tables, symposiums, international internships.
The main focus of the educational program: the formation and development of professional competencies of masters on the basis of mastering digital technologies for further implementation in the practice of hotel and restaurant business.
Features of the educational program: a harmonious combination of theoretical and practical components, which allows to ensure a high level of training of masters with creative thinking, able to improve existing methods of organizing hotel and restaurant business based on the implementation of scientific achievements in practice. Particular attention is paid to the formation of hospitality strategy and digital transformation, design and implementation of business processes in the hospitality industry.
All students of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business living outside of Kyiv are provided with a dormitory located near the university buildings.Students of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business of KNUTD can simultaneously obtain military education and receive a state diploma of officer rank.
